History and the registration of time both on a personal as well as a universal level have long been themes in my
work. In my current series I am most interested in blurring the boundaries between drawing and textiles, through
my process of felting and the interplay of perception and memory.
My goal is to capture a moment in time through mark making and tactile forms that are caught in flux, sometimes
buried and often times unearthed. In my practice, sketching and photography are tools used to evolve my
subconscious, as I rely on gesture and process to guide my composition. Through an exploration of migrating
color, stitched marks and preserved forms; a story unfolds.
